PG checklist: 16 things to check before you book
Take this list on every PG visit. The answers tell you what you'll really pay and what living there will be like.
Visit at the time you'd actually be home
A PG can feel very different at 9 pm than at noon. If you can, visit in the evening. Check noise, hot water, the WiFi and who is around at the gate.

Rent, deposit, notice period and electricity billing are where most disagreements come from later. Ask for them on WhatsApp or in your agreement before you pay anything.
